For my current project I needed a firmer fabric with more pronounced squares. This is it! No skipped stitches with this fabric & you can work in hoop, frame (my preference) or nothing at all. For the right project the finished piece is stunning.

I don't care for stitching on aida, but I also don't care for linen and if you want something smaller than a 32 count evenweave piece can give you, then you just about have no choice but to go back to aida.

It does seem to be fraying around the edges more than my other projects. I wouldn't say it's a quality issue though--I would just recommend others tape the edges rather than the whip stitch I used.
